Is there a Modifier?

Yes, She is in blue in the picture above.  One thing I don’t like about her  as the modifier is that she is already in shape and she complains a lot during the workouts.  In 21 Day Fix, the modifier looks like a real woman and you can see she really struggles through some of the workouts.  This modifier does not.

The Calendar

The calendar for 21 Day Fix Extreme and 21 Day Fix are very similar.  The workouts are called the same in both and both follow the same schedule.  However that’s about where the similarity ends. 21 Day Fix Extreme utalized your lower body a lot more than the original, since your lower body is legs are where you hold ost of your muscles and have the opportunity to burn more calories.

You are completing the same workout each day of the week, however its only for 3 weeks so you won’t get too bored. That and once you know whats coming in each workout you can push yourself that much harder.

Nutrition Aspect

Just like with the 21 Day Fix program you are going to use the portion control containers to help you maintain proper portions and eating withing the approved food chart. What is different is that with this program you are cutting out some of the more “unhealthy foods” if you are following the Count Down to Compitition part. So you are cutting out fruit, Healthy Fats, and seeding and dressings.

You can see from the chart below that if you are following the Count down to Competition Calendar you are alternating your Extreme Days and the Competition Days of eating. Means some days you will be getting a few more calories and some days you will be getting less.  This is a great way to keep your body guessing and burning more calories so it won’t plateau.
